The true GAP between sales and a bargain

Despite the world falling apart around our feet, I’m sure that some of you would have taken advantage of the sales over the new year period. And why not… It’s an excellent time to strategically get hold of those things you wanted at a more reasonable price.

I too picked up a bargain, or at least I thought I did, when I was sent an email by GAP suggesting I peruse their online sale. I had fairly recently bought a pair of 1969 boot cut jeans and was overjoyed with them (as much as one can be by a pair of jeans).

Should I advise my clients to become bullies?

Firstly, let me welcome you to the roaring inferno that is the world in which we now live. Now that the pleasantries are out of the way it’s time I insulted you… That’s how it works, right? Success and popularity comes from being a bully now, I’m sure that’s what I’ve heard… So, FUCK YOU! Why don’t you piss off to wherever you came from (probably Google, or a link I posted on Twitter)!

What can one really say about the events that have been happening around us this past year? I for one am exhausted, confused and quite simply fed up with the whole bloody thing. Not so exhausted that I couldn’t spare the time to write a few words in the desperate hope that they might be read and shared to feed my ever-present ego mind you… I digress. Consider this an outpouring of thoughts. It might not make much sense, or at times even seem that coherent but this is happening so go with it.

But it was now time for lift-off…

I’m going to tell you a story…

Two decades ago, back when the term social media referred to the act of writing ones name on the side of the railway lines, I began my digital journey. It was a truly exciting time, the web was barely out of nappies and the humble Notepad was the only HTML editor of choice. But still I managed to build many great websites.

I am the one who knocks… #lovemyhat

When I began this new #lovemyhat experience two weeks ago I was not afriad to admit that I was genuinely uneasy about it. Trilby’s and Baseball Caps were one thing, but a Pork Pie was not your typical hat choice. However, just as Walter’s confidence in his new situation starts to grow in Breaking Bad, so has mine in regards to the Pork Pie.

I am not in danger, Skyler. I am the danger. A guy opens his door and gets shot and you think that of me? No. I am the one who knocks!
